If you have decided to make a compensation claim following a personal injury then you may be wondering where to…
Mr G was causally walking along the street when he saw a young man and his girlfriend being assaulted by a group of five boys. On seeing this distressing situation our client tried helping the victims of the assault, he manages to get two of the boys off them but was slashed with a Stanley knife on his arm causing scarring. After the ordeal Mr Gough contacted Clearwater solicitors after reading reviews on our Facebook page. Mr G discussed the incident with our friendly case opening team and perused a criminal injury claim.
The case was then transferred to our criminal injury solicitors where the file was allocated to Sohail Ahmed who specialises in securing criminal injury compensation for victims of unprovoked violent crime.
Mr Ahmed proceeded with the claim making an application through the criminal injury compensation authority (CICA) where the incident details along with photographs were put forward for investigation.
After CICA had concluded their investigation Mr G was awarded £1000.00 for his criminal injury claim.
Cases such as this are usually straightforward, our clients often get frustrated with the long wait, the reason for the delay is because CICA take quite a while to carry out their investigations and request information and this can take time, but we do ensure we regularly chase CICA for updates and keep our clients updated. Mr G was very happy with our client care because he felt we kept him updated on a regular basis and was overjoyed to receive £1000.00 criminal injury compensation.
If you have been involved in unprovoked violent crime and have suffered injury as a result then contact Clearwater Solicitors 08000 430 430 and we can help you secure criminal injury compensation for your injuries.
